BASKETBALL CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE - MY JOURNEY AROUND THE WORLD.

Born and raised in Pasadena, California, Troy’s love for basketball began at age 5 playing for a local YMCA Junior Lakers league.

Troy attended La Salle High School, graduating in 2007. He flourished under the mentorship of Coach Steve Goldstein as a team captain, playing a significant role in the team's success over four varsity seasons (93-23). He earned honors as a League MVP and First Team Division IV-A All-California Interscholastic Federation. Later, Troy went to Cypress College, and transferred to Notre Dame College of Ohio where he would graduate after two years with a degree in Psychology.

In pursuit of a professional career, Troy competed professionally for six years in both England and Germany winning multiple league championships in both countries. Simultaneously, while playing he completed two Master’s degrees at universities in England and took on the role of coaching youth basketball. This is where he discovered his passion skills training, working with athletes in four different countries: Romania, Czech Republic, England, and Germany.

Troy is supporter of using basketball as a vehicle to see the places in the world he had only dreamed of. Traveling overseas to play expanded his horizons offering experiences that cultivated a globally minded citizen.
